Generally physical exercise is good for the Health.
There are two types of Physical Exercises available
- ISOTONIC Exercise
- ISOMETRIC Exercise
What is ISOTONIC Exercise?
Any physical exercise which involves movement of the large joints resulting in movement of the body
Example: WALKING, JOGGING, SWIMMING.
This ISOTONIC Exercise is good for the Heart.
What is ISOMETRIC Exercise?
Any exercise which not resulting in movement of the body otherwise static exercise
Example: WIEGHT LIFTING, PULL UPS, THUMBLS, SIT UPS, These exercise are not good for the Heart
Especially patients with high blood pressure & pre existing Heart diseases.
Generally violent exercise and vigorous exercise to be avoided.
These violent and vigorous exercise can trigger increased adrenergic drive and can produce tearing of the Blood vessels of the Heart producing sudden Ischemia precipitating fatal arrhythmias like VT/VF resulting in sudden death.
Sometimes genetically related Heart diseases will present in young individuals when they do violent and vigorous exercise can trigger fatal arrhythmias resulting in sudden death.
